HOW IT WEIGHS
The Easy Mobile Livestock Weigh System is attached to a 7' X 18' Silverado Livestock
Trailer. A reasonably level 10’ X 20’ area of firmly packed earth is needed to set
up to weigh. An independent jack stand at each corner attaches to an electronic load
cell to lift the trailer into weigh mode. Plastic dolly pads are placed under the jack
stands to provide a bigger footprint to stabilize the lift jacks on softer or uneven
surfaces. Position gauges at each corner and an integrated liquid leveling system
assures the trailer stays plumb and level. The battery-powered indicator coupled with
a 12-volt printer provides a printed scale ticket for each draft. The Rice Lake
DC390 indicator has a livestock movement weigh program and is filtered to provide fast
and accurate weights for each draft. Additionally, the E-Z Mobile Weigh System can be
configured to weigh animals individually to collect performance data. The indicator and printer are carried in an environmentally secure carrying case for their protection and storage when not in use. Attaching the indicator and printer to the scales system with a plug-in cable allows the flexibility of positioning for the operator’s convenience. The trailer’s rear door opens from either side, allowing for the orderly flow of livestock in and out of the trailer. Typical setup time is thirty to forty minutes.
The E-Z Mobile Weigh System has been fully tested, is NTEP (National Type Evaluation Program) certified by the National Conference on Weight and Measures (Certificate of Conformance: 01-017) and is licensed as a Legal-for-Trade, Class III L, 13,500 lb. capacity livestock scale by state licensing agencies. Patent applied for.
