PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The Mobile Weigh System was developed to meet a need in the livestock industry. However, the concept of moving a legal-for-trade scale from location to location without the expense and hassle of recalibration has applications in many other areas. Other applications could include grains, seed crops, produce, fruits, vegetables, feed, fertilizer, soil conditioners, herbicides, pesticides, or any other item that needs to be weighed for commerce. We welcome inquiries or suggestions for development of other uses for the Mobile Weigh System.

The ability to scan animal RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags, collect production information, and provide source verification will become more important over time in the livestock industry. We have accelerated development of a system enhancement to scan RFID tags, collect and store data, and move information on to the next level in the supply chain.
